So what?

So many sordid September Saturdays spent studying the subtleties of the system.

Leila Offer for La Jolla Stay

Hey Funky Friends,

All of you were on this email from Leila, but I thought I would add it here too.

hello all,

half of the sinclaire family has finally arrived in la
jolla at my late grandfather's beautiful "compound."
we would like to extend the invitation to you to join
us here for some good food and company, not to mention
near-perfect weather, sun, and surf.

we are here from now until sunday, august 19th.

i know this is last minute, but we did not want to
invite you all earlier because nonno doesn't live here
anymore, and it was rumored to have fallen into a
shocking state of decay. but i am happy to report that
the houses are clean, the garden popping with plants,
the tennis court flat and waiting, the pool warm and
sparkling blue (albeit with some dirt at the bottom).

i think my L.A.lien lady friends are planning on
descending on the weekend of my 28th birthday, august
17th-18th-19th.

i hope summer is treating you all well,
leila

Ideas for Beck's B-day...

Hey peoples...help me brianstorm.

Beck's 30th is in late September and I am looking for a good party idea. We have tossed around the idea of a Casino Party...and I think that would be fun, but a bit expensive.

Are there any other ideas that come to mind?

The party will be in early October.

Friday Night . . .

Here's a typical Friday night. My favorite part's gotta be me yelling "sodomize him!" I mean, really . . .

Real Men Fly Kites

Well shucks, the world certainly needed another blog; I'm glad we're here to fill the void. Thanks for setting this up, BGC. It doesn't seem to work so swell in Safari, but Firefox is smooth.

Had a blast at the beach today, but without a muff and electric socks the chill was almost nearly unbearable. Jaz said hula-hooping was her favorite part; It's stirring to watch as the hula-hoop baton gets passed to a new generation.

Looking at the calendar of events, it seems like we need something glamorous to do Labor Day weekend. Nash and I were talking about car camping in Mendocino and renting kayaks for day trips up the river.
Any other bright ideas?
